Fortunes Rocks Association University (FRAU) is pleased to announce three events for July. All events will be two hours long and held at the FRA Clubhouse at 5 p.m.
July 19th: Adventures in Genealogy: Getting to REALLY Know Your Family. Ray Leavitt and Jeff Leman will share their extensive experience researching their personal genealogical heritage in a focused instruction session that will set each participant on the road to researching his/her own family. As needed, Ray and Jeff also will be available throughout the summer to help your efforts along. Depending on interest, a late summer session would be held to allow researchers an opportunity to present their learnings and get suggestions regarding how best they might further proceed.
July 26: An Afternoon in the Vineyard: Wine Tasting. Alper Caglayan and Gail Erath will reprise their very professional and well-received wine- and cheese-tasting experience this year. This session will be limited to 12 people. However, Alper and Gail have agreed to do a second session in August if there is not enough space in the July session for those interested in attending.
July 30th: Can’t Help But Wonder Where I’m Bound: FRA Travel Club. Gail Erath and John Redman will present their experiences/photos from travels to respectively, Venice, Italy and the country of New Zealand. Each presentation will provide attendees an opportunity to gain/share information regarding ”must do’s”, places to stay and eat, how best to get there, free travel award strategies, and other useful intelligence gathered from their own (and the group’s) collective travel experiences. A second session treating additional destinations will be held in August.
Please R. S. V. P. to John Redman at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to attend one or more of these sessions.
We look forward to sharing these experiences with you!
