The Fortunes Rocks Association (FRA), incorporated in 1949, proudly represents 125 families across Fortunes Rocks, Granite Point, Mile Stretch, and Biddeford Pool. As a 501(c)(7) nonprofit social club, FRA exists to bring neighbors together while preserving the unique beauty and history of our community.
For more than 70 years, FRA has been a good steward of the land — improving our grounds, protecting natural vegetation around the pond, and providing space for community events. From hosting Earth Day cleanups, local art shows, and live music, to serving as a station for runners, cyclists, and volunteers, FRA has been woven into the fabric of Biddeford’s coastal life.
FRA also plays a vital role in our neighborhood:
Enhancing property values and strengthening the community’s appeal
Reducing the public parking burden at Fortunes Rocks Beach with ~30 private spaces for members
Offering members a gathering place that blends tradition, recreation, and natural beauty
If you’d like to help preserve this historic neighborhood asset for generations to come, please consider making a donation.
Please note: While FRA is tax-exempt, donations are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions under IRS rules.
